Films for the Lomo’Instant Automat Bora Bora
To take pictures, the LomoInstant Automat Bora Bora requires Instax Mini films. Fujifilm manufactures the instant films for this format.
The Instax Mini format is the smallest instant format on the market. The dimensions of a picture are 8.6 x 5.4 cm. The shooting area is 62 x 46 mm. The size is comparable to that of a business card.
The instant pictures are placed in a cassette. The cassette is placed in the camera as a whole. One pack usually contains 10 images. If the frame counter shows “0”, a film change is due. You have to pay around 70 cents per image.
After the exposure, the camera ejects the image. As if out of nowhere, the picture then appears within minutes. The image quality of the color films (Instax Mini Film*) is impressive. The white frames around the image can be spiced up with pens and stickers.
For black and white pictures there is the Instax Mini Monochrome*. From the color film, there are some special edition with printed frames. The Instax Mini format is good for a party or a wedding celebration.
